Be the Change Bookclub

There are loads of places to buy your books online.  But, if you want to make a difference with your dollars here are a few you might like to try:

Better World Books
Better world Books collects and sells books online to fund literacy initiatives worldwide.  They have both new and used books.

GoodBooksNZ
If you’re a Kiwi (like me) try GoodBooksNZ.  100% of the retail profit from every purchase you make goes to support communities in need through Oxfam projects.

Your Local Bookstore
Support your local economy and buy your books from your local bookstore.  If they don’t have what you ask for they will probably be able to order it for you.

The Library
Try your local library.  If they don’t have the book you’re after they may be able to source it elsewhere or even be happy to purchase it for their collection.

Book Mooch
BookMooch lets you give away books you no longer need in exchange for books you really want.  Every time you give someone a book you earn a point and can get any book you want from someone else.  You can also give some of your points to charities so they can get the books they need.

GoodShop
Choose your cause, shop online at your favourite retailer and up to 30% of your purchase will go to your favourite cause.
